After Vince, Willy and Joey are arrested, Deloris and the nuns make it back to the church to perform for the Pope. The choir starts singing 'I Will Follow Him' together, then after Sister Alma jams out on the piano, Deloris starts singing her solo. As soon as Deloris' solo is over, Mary Patrick and Mary Robert sing a mini duet together. When they finish it, Mary Patrick backs away and files back in with the other nuns so Mary Robert can sing her solo. This part always give me goosebumps!

They have an outdoor concert to raise the money. They also sell cotton candy, popcorn and drinks to the people that come to the concert. They end up raising enough to drive to Hollywood where the competition takes place.

This scene is so funny. Deloris sees them and gets upset. She tells them that she is there to see a man about a car for the convent. Then Mary Patrick sees a jukebox and has to dance around with everyone. Deloris finally is able to grab them and leave. When they get back to the convent, Reverend Mother is not happy at all.

The kids are on their way to the competition when Mr. Crisp barges into Father Maurice's office and shows him the magazine with her picture on it.They decide to take the kids out of the competition by driving to Hollywood and telling the truth.

Deloris goes to the choir rehearsal and Mary Lazarus asks her if she's alto or soprano and Deloris tells her whatever. Mary Lazarus hands her a book and she stands with the other sisters. They begin singing, but Deloris just stands there with a disgusted look on her face and doesn't sing. Mary Lazarus gets upset so Deloris sits it out. Mary Robert tells Mary Patrick that Deloris has a background in music. All the other sisters are happy about this. Deloris becomes the new choir mistress.

The kids were watching another school perform their song and they did a really good job as well as looking better and the kids thought that they weren't good enough. Their robes weren't as nice and they didn't think they could sing as well.
They were wrong, because Deloris changed their minds and they ended up performing.

You have to really look close and fast to catch the amount on the voucher. We discover that Tate is the leak in the department when he calls Vince and tells him where Deloris is. He is taken away and locked up.

As soon as the Fathers got there and saw how great the kids looked in their robes and how happy they were they decided to hold off on telling the truth about Deloris and the kids got to stay and perform.
This scene was so funny. The Fathers pushed Mr. Crisp in the closet and then locked it with a sausage.

This scene is so funny. The sisters are talking to the pilot. The pilot tells them that it's $1500 to fly them to Reno and Mary Patrick tells him that they don't have $1500. He tells them that he can't fly them there and then he apologizes. The sisters begin to gang up on him and making him feel guilty by praying to God about the pilot not helping them out when they need him and for God not to help him when he asks for it. The pilot gives in and flies them there for free. It was so cute seeing the sisters gang up on the poor pilot.

Answer: Deloris is in a nun's habit and they don't feel right shooting her.

Willy and Joey may have been murderers but at least they had an ounce of dignity. They couldn't shoot Deloris because she was in a nun's habit and they felt that it was wrong. I think I liked them for a brief instant, but that's it. They shot a man in cold-blood before, so holding off from shooting Deloris was a little too late.

The school before them sings the same song and they do a good job at it and the kids don't think they have a shot. But, when the kids get out there they give it their own flavor and it totally rocks. They end up winning.
